    Frequently Asked Questions

    Common questions about getting help

We serve Veterans, Native American and Tribal members, and their families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Las Vegas area and surrounding communities. We also work with case managers and social workers placing SSI/SSDI clients into transitional housing.

Our three-pillar model includes Triage Support (safe shelter, medical care, mental health support), Employment & Workforce Development (job training, career placement, skills certification), and Housing & Homeownership (transitional housing, rental assistance, and a guided path to permanent homeownership).

Complete the intake form on this page or call us directly at (725) 257-4414. A Program Director will contact you within 1–2 business days to schedule an intake interview, review eligibility, and discuss available housing options.

Most of our core services are provided at no cost to qualifying individuals, funded by grants and charitable donations. Transitional housing may involve a modest program fee based on income and SSI/SSDI status. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

After you submit the form or call, our team responds within 1–2 business days. The initial intake interview takes about 30–45 minutes. Depending on bed availability, placement into transitional housing can happen within 24–72 hours for urgent cases.

Absolutely. We partner with hospitals, mental health agencies, VA centers, and social service organizations. Case managers can call (725) 257-4414 or email info@arbecyfoundation.com to schedule a tour or coordinate a direct referral.

We prefer scheduled appointments to ensure a Program Director is available to meet with you. However, if you are in crisis, call (725) 257-4414 anytime and we will direct you to immediate resources.

Please bring a government-issued photo ID, proof of Veteran or Tribal status if applicable, income documentation (SSI/SSDI award letter, pay stubs), and any relevant medical or discharge paperwork. If you don't have everything, we can still begin the process and help you obtain missing documents.
