Get Involved with the Arbecy Foundation

Every home starts with someone who decided to help. Give, serve, hire, partner, or spread the word — there is a place here for what you have to offer.

    Make a Donation

Donations are the engine of our pathway. They pay for the first safe night, the bus pass to a job interview, the work boots, the medication copay, and the application fee that stands between a family and a lease. Because we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

One-time gifts help us respond to emergencies. Monthly gifts are even more valuable, because they let us commit to a participant's plan for the months it takes to finish it. You choose the amount and the frequency on our donation page.

    Volunteer Your Time

Volunteers do the work that makes a program feel human. Some help move a family into a unit, assemble beds, or clean and prep a room for the next arrival. Some sit with a participant and practice interview questions, read over a résumé, or explain a benefits letter. Others give rides to appointments, help sort donated goods, or lend a trade skill for a repair.

Tell us what you are good at and how much time you have — a Saturday, a standing weekly slot, or one project a quarter — and we will match you to where you are actually needed. Skills we hear about most: construction and handyman trades, bookkeeping, counseling, résumé and hiring experience, translation, and event help.

    Employers: Hire a Graduate

Hiring is the fastest way a business can change someone's future. Participants who reach the employment stage of our job training program have a stable address, a plan, and a case manager who stays in touch after the first day — which means fewer no-shows and better retention for you.

Tell us the roles you need to fill, the schedule, and the requirements, and we will refer candidates who match. We can also arrange on-site interviews, hiring events, or short work trials. If a hire hits a bump, call us before you give up on them; that is exactly the kind of problem our team is built to solve.

    Partner Organizations

No single organization can carry a person from homelessness to homeownership alone. We work alongside hospitals, clinics, treatment centers, recovery programs, tribal programs, VA staff, churches, and social service agencies across Southern Nevada. When our partners handle what they do best, participants stop falling through the cracks between systems.

If your organization places clients, provides care, or serves the same families we do, let's talk about how referrals should flow in both directions. Case managers and discharge planners can also read our program overview before reaching out.

    Donate Goods or Services

Not every gift is money. Setting up a room takes beds, bedding, towels, kitchen basics, and cleaning supplies. Starting a job takes work boots, uniforms, tools, and a backpack. Getting to work takes bus passes and gas cards.

Professionals can donate services too: plumbing and electrical work, moving help, haircuts before interviews, legal or tax advice, accounting, photography, and IT support all reduce costs we would otherwise pay from donated funds.

Please contact us before dropping items off so we can confirm what is needed right now and arrange a time. That keeps our small space usable and makes sure your donation reaches someone quickly.

    Spread the Word

Many of the people we serve find us because someone told them we exist. Share our Get Help page with a Veteran, a family, or a colleague who works with people in crisis. Follow and share our posts on Facebook and LinkedIn. Mention us at your church, union hall, tribal center, or staff meeting.

Our blog explains benefits, housing referrals, employment support, and culturally respectful care in plain language. Passing one of those articles to the right person can be as useful as a donation.

    Let's find your fit

Call, email, or send a message and our team will follow up with the next step.
